Drug enforcement agency confiscates four pounds of marijuana

ADYGEA, November 23, Caucasus Times, – The regional department of Federal service of drug control confiscated over 2 kg (4, 4 lb) of marijuana in during an antinarcotics campaign conducted in the country, Alla Orlova, spokeswoman for the regional drug enforcement agency told Caucasus Times correspondent.

In the late week over, the drug department agents have tracked down and detained members of several criminal groups engaged in illicit drugs trade. Among the detainees appeared to be a drug dealer, father of two little children, Alla Orlova was quoted as saying.

At total, the campaign resulted in 4,4 lb of narcotics, mainly marijuana, confiscated by the enforcement officers.

Several criminal cases have been instituted, the spokeswoman said.
