Inhabitant of the Chechen republic killed in Babayurt district of daghestan as a result of a special operation

DAGESTAN, 7 November, Caucasus Times. Sources in the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed CaucasusTimes correspondent that Kairbek Alhuzurov, native of Chechen Republic, has been recently shot dead in Babayurt district of Dagestan in one of the houses while trying to offer armed resistance to law inforcement agencies.

According to the source, 28-year old inhabitant of Shelkovskyj district of Chechnya Kairbek Alhuzurov was encircled in a rented house on Bykanov street. He opened fire reacting to an offer to surrender and was killed afterwords by returned fire.

Policemen found a lot of weapons and ammunition in his house. List of confiscated weapons included three Kalashnikov sub-machine guns, one Stechkin pistol, 18 various grenades and around 500 cartridges. Apart from that, there was found extremist vahhabit literature.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs information, Alhuzurov is a brother of a head of terrorist gang operating on the territory of Shelkovskyj district of Chechnya.
