Police report explosion in Russia’s Dagestan, no-one injured

Dagestan, 5 May, Caucasus Times: An explosion occurred 200 metres away from a petrol station on the Khasavyurt-Babayurt road in Dagestan at about 1230 [0830 gmt] today.
Presumably, an unidentified explosive device, which was hidden in a heap of rubbish, went off, a source at the Dagestani Interior Ministry told the Caucasus Times. According to preliminary information, no-one was injured as a result of the explosion. The force of the explosion is yet to be ascertained. An investigation team is currently working at the scene.

At the same time, we support the development of national languages as key elements of identity and cultural heritage, encouraging public discussion and engagement. The project seeks to become a catalyst for building a strong civil society and defending democratic values, helping to train new professional journalists and fostering international cooperation.
