Republic needs 18 billion rubles for development program, federal government allocates only 30%

ADYGEYA, November 10, Caucasus Times, – Speaking at the meeting of the republic’s Cabinet deputy prime minister Skhatbey Vorokov said the federal government had approved the four-year development program for Adygeya, Caucasus Times reported citing the government press service. The development program consists of three economic priorities, development of agriculture, processing industry and tourism.

Fulfillment of the program might have doubled the gross republic’s product in four years, the official said. The federal government will provide thirty percent of total 18 billion rubles (over $ 640 million) the expected cost of the project.
