Total number of victims of the tragedy on Moscow market place reached 58 persons

MOSCOW, 24 February, Caucasus Times. Head of Information Department of the Russian Ministry for Extraordinary Situations Irina Andrianova told that rescue operations in the place of roof collapse on Basmannyi market place in Moscow have been finished. Total number of victims is 58 persons. 57 of them including one child were killed on the place of the tragedy. One more person died later in the hospital.

More than 30 people have been injured; 23 of them have been taken to hospitals. According to Irina Andrianova, no people remained under the ruins. Rescue teams are continuing to clear the ruins on the market place.
