Wahabbists’ counterattack
INGUSHETIA, November 17, Caucasus Times – According to latest reports five task forces policemen were killed and 10 others wounded in a blast came November 15 in Troitskaya village of Sunzhensky district of Ingushetia.
Two of the injured policemen delivered to a local hospital are reportedly in serious condition, the Interior Ministry said in an interview with the Caucasus Times correspondent.
Some sources close to Wahabbists told the blast came as a revenge for what they said vendetta, heavy special operations conducted by local police against Wahabbist underground, which have resulted in several deaths of radical Moslem leaders.
Thus far, the law-enforcement agencies of Ingushetia have been successful conducting sweeps in the republic and destroying a few prominent Wahabbist leaders.
