Two injured in gas explosion at parking lot

DAGESTAN, November 3, Caucasus Times -Two persons were injured in a gas explosion at a parking lot in Makhachkala, Caucasus Times correspondent reports citing the regional Interior Ministry.

A guard and 7-year-old boy who happened to be at the site were seriously wounded and transported to hospital in grave condition, a duty officer told Caucasus Times correspondent. The explosion caused fire and ten cars were burned down. As of now, firemen have put out the fire.

Criminal case has been instituted. Police said a gas cylinder in one of the cars might incidentally detonate and exploded.
