Four foreigners detained in Ingushetia

INGUSHETIA, January 13, Caucasus Times – The FSB and police squads detained four foreign citizens while conducting a sweep in Troitskaya village, the Interfax agency reports citing the regional branch of the Federal Security Service.

According to the FSB press service, two of the detainees were citizens of Azerbaijan, two others came from Tajikistan. Scores of other aliens were arrested in the operation for illegally staying in the country. They had been fined for violation of the Russian law, the FSB said.

At the same time, we support the development of national languages as key elements of identity and cultural heritage, encouraging public discussion and engagement. The project seeks to become a catalyst for building a strong civil society and defending democratic values, helping to train new professional journalists and fostering international cooperation.
